Real clients. Real stories.
Each person’s health journey is unique. These client stories offer a glimpse into the real-life changes and insights that can unfold through health coaching.
Many of the people you’ll read about below came to coaching because they were struggling with sugar cravings, low energy, or feeling stuck with their weight and habits around food.
As the work unfolded, many discovered that food was just one part of a bigger picture — involving sleep, stress, mindset, movement and how they were looking after themselves overall. Different things resonated for different people, which is exactly what allowed change to take hold in a way that felt realistic and lasting.

What connects all of these stories is not a single outcome or problem, but the experience of being supported in a personalised way — and finding changes that genuinely fit real life.
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“Working with Priya has been a complete game-changer for me.”
Client: KL
Life stage: Busy professional woman juggling work, social life and wellbeing
Focus: Reducing sugar cravings, stabilising energy, and creating a sustainable, flexible approach to food and health
Before working with Priya, I’d spent years trying quick fixes to feel healthier and lose a bit of weight — but nothing ever really stuck. As a busy marketing manager with a full social life, I didn’t want anything rigid or restrictive, and I didn’t want to feel guilty if I wasn’t being ‘perfect’.

What felt different straight away was that Priya helped me step back and look at the bigger picture — not just food, but how I was spending my time, managing stress, and fuelling myself through the day. Instead of calorie counting, I learned how to understand what my body actually needs, how to balance my blood sugar, and how food affects my energy, mood and focus.

The changes felt surprisingly easy to put into practice. Within just a couple of sessions, I was creating routines I’d been putting off for years — cooking more from scratch, exercising for stress relief, winding down properly in the evenings, and planning my days in a way that felt supportive rather than restrictive. Now cooking is my new hobby!

It’s been refreshing to finally find an approach that works for me instead of beating myself up about ‘doing things wrong’. The biggest shift has been in how I feel — not just physically, but mentally. I have steady energy throughout the day, calmer moods, deeper sleep, and the constant food noise and cravings have gone. It genuinely feels like I’ve got half my brain back: the brain fog has lifted, my thoughts feel quieter and less scattered, and I can cope with busy, stressful days much more easily.

I no longer feel like I’m in survival mode after work — I actually have energy for evenings, friends, and life. I’ve also lost nearly a stone along the way, without focusing on weight or restricting myself.

What’s been most powerful is that this doesn’t feel like a plan I’ll ever fall off. It feels 100% sustainable because it’s flexible, realistic and completely tailored to me. Priya’s coaching was gentle, empowering and non-judgemental. I never felt told what to do; instead I felt supported to make choices that were right for me, at a pace that worked for my life.

I feel happier, healthier, and inspired to manage my own health better long-term. We are never too old to learn something new and make a change! Thanks to Priya, I’m excited to keep working towards a strong, healthy future as I steadily approach my forties.
— KL
My initial reason for seeking health coaching was to overhaul my diet, which at the time consisted of high sugar and heavily processed foods, so that I could start going to the gym and work towards my fitness and strength goals.

Over the course of our work together, I’ve been able to make changes that feel genuinely different from anything I had done before. I’m now far more conscious of the foods I buy and eat — reading labels, paying attention to protein, and regularly including more vegetables, nuts and seeds in my meals. I cook for myself much more often, with at least 20 of my weekly meals now prepared at home. I’m also experimenting more with different foods and have found renewed enjoyment in shopping, cooking and eating food.

One of the biggest shifts has been my mindset and attitude to nutrition, which underpins everything. I’ve gone from feeling stuck in old habits and closed off around food to feeling curious, confident and genuinely excited about trying new foods. My actions have changed completely — and as I started to follow through consistently, my confidence grew. Those actions built confidence, and that confidence fundamentally changed how I think about food and my ability to make lasting changes.

What really made this work was having a coach. I love learning, but I learn best with guidance rather than pressure, and that made all the difference. Priya’s coaching style was really effective: she provided structure, expert knowledge and help setting clear, achievable targets, alongside accountability that kept me moving forward without ever feeling pushed. Her considered approach empowered me and gave me the confidence to let go of old eating habits. Each week we added a new target which I was able to easily implement, and in each session we reviewed what was working, what needed to change, and how to incorporate improvements. Priya is patient, informative, and encouraging, providing excellent coaching tools and positive reinforcement. Throughout the programme, I felt supported and accountable.

As a result, I have more energy, feel fuller for longer, snack less, and feel much more confident making decisions around food and nutrition. I’m enthusiastic about what I’m doing, I enjoy it, and I feel proud of myself for having made these changes. It’s boosted my self-esteem and confidence, and I feel genuinely set up to continue building on this as I move into the next stage of focusing on fitness and long-term health.

I would strongly recommend Priya to others after the positive transformation I have experienced.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“Priya’s coaching helped me to transform my diet and how I think about food.”
Client: SP
Life stage: Professional man focused on fitness, strength and long-term health
Focus: Reducing sugar and processed foods, building consistency, and developing a confident mindset around nutrition
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“The mindset changes have been transformative — it’s changed everything I do.”
Client: YP
Life stage: Woman navigating midlife changes alongside work and family life

Focus: Managing sugar cravings and energy, reframing self-care, and building confidence around food, rest and movement
I came to health coaching because I was struggling to lose weight and felt completely stuck. Since entering perimenopause, my energy had dropped, my cravings were intense, and I had developed habits around comfort eating. Exercise felt unrealistic. I didn’t know where to start and had gradually accepted that this was just the way things were going to be — until I learned about health coaching and decided to give it a try.

Working with Priya helped me realise that this wasn’t about willpower — for me, it was about learning how to look after myself properly. I learned what a balanced plate really looks like, how to reduce sugar cravings without feeling deprived, and how to fuel myself so I feel full, satisfied and energised. Alcohol is now out of the picture — there’s no habitual drinking anymore, and I drink only rarely now. I batch cook regularly so I always have nourishing food available when I’m busy, and I feel much more aware and intentional about what I eat.
The biggest shift has been my mindset around self-care. I used to feel guilty or lazy if I took time out for myself, especially if I rested during the day. Changing how I think about self-care gave me permission to listen to what I need. When I need a nap, I no longer judge myself — I’ve realised that naps actually help me focus. That mindset shift about self-care has changed everything I do: how I eat, rest and exercise.

I’ve been genuinely surprised by how much my health, energy and blood sugar have improved in a relatively short space of time. My sugar cravings are reduced — they now tend to show up mainly when I’m stressed, rather than feeling constant. I feel more cheerful, confident and positive, and my thinking feels clearer, which has had a big impact on my work and daily life.

The ripple effects have been unexpected. My family relationships have improved, and my son has become proactively interested in healthy food — which makes me feel proud of the example I’m setting. My desire and motivation to exercise has changed completely. I enjoy short, more intense workouts, love long walks, and I’m genuinely looking forward to trying things like tai chi and ballroom dancing. Exercise now feels like a hobby I can continue for the rest of my life.

As I started feeling better in myself, I also felt confident enough — with appropriate support — to begin coming off anti-depressants I’d been taking for four years. That decision came from feeling stronger, clearer and more in control of my health than I had in a long time.
I couldn’t have done this without the coaching. Priya created a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where I could be honest about doubts and setbacks and keep going without giving up. I realised that small steps really do make a huge difference coupled with a changing mindset, being aware of emotional needs, finding foods you enjoy, and seeking fun, sustainable ways to exercise. I feel equipped with practical tools, a new way of thinking, and the confidence to continue prioritising my health long-term.

I feel proud of myself, hopeful, and excited about what’s possible going forward.
— YP
I was initially intrigued by what health coaching was all about and how it could help me. I’m so glad I decided to try it. From the start, Priya had a real skill in understanding what I wanted my physical and mental wellbeing to look like, and what was getting in the way. Through thoughtful discussions, visual tools and regular check-ins, I was able to clarify what really mattered to me and set goals that felt achievable and meaningful.

One of the biggest benefits for me has been how the coaching helped me put things into practice. I learned about blood sugar balancing, sleep, movement and realised how interconnected everything is. Most importantly, I was able to experience the difference these holistic changes can make in real life.

One of the biggest changes has been in my movement. By improving my sleep and nutrition, I’m now able to move more with less pain, adapt exercise to suit my body, and feel confident saying yes to new experiences again. I’ve climbed steep hills, tried new activities, and even said yes to things I would previously have avoided.

What really stood out was the way Priya supported me when things didn’t go exactly to plan. There were weeks when I wasn’t able to follow through on everything I’d intended, but instead of focusing on what I hadn’t done, we focused on what I had managed, how it made me feel, and we celebrated those achievements. We also reflected on how, in the past, that might have been the point where I gave up — and how this time I didn’t. I made a conscious decision that I wasn’t going to give up; I was going to adapt.

Through this process, I’ve built confidence in listening to my inner voice and trusting what feels right for me. I’ve learned that adapting is part of real lifestyle change, and that taking baby steps is what makes it sustainable.

The ripple effects have been really encouraging. My family have started to notice the changes in me, and they’re also trying more new foods — which feels like a win. I’m saying yes to more things, feeling more capable in my body, and more confident in myself overall.

What made all of this possible was the coaching itself. It felt very different from reading a book or following generic advice — this was about having support to turn insight into action. Priya created a safe, non-judgemental space where I could reflect, learn, and make changes without feeling pressured. The combination of education, encouragement and accountability made everything feel tailored to me.

Health coaching has helped me see that this is an ongoing process that can evolve as my needs change. It’s reminded me that looking after my health helps me feel younger, more capable, and more open to life — and that’s something I’m excited to continue building on.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“Health coaching helped me turn intention into action — and keep going when things weren’t perfect.”

Life stage: Woman in her forties balancing physical health, movement concerns and everyday life demands
Focus: Building consistency through adaptation, improving movement with less pain, and developing confidence to keep going when things aren’t perfect
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“I now have a system that genuinely works for me and I feel so much better for it.”
Client: NZ
Life stage: High-functioning professional seeking better balance and resilience

Focus: Improving sleep, reducing unhelpful habits around evening routines, and supporting calmer mental wellbeing through practical systems
I came to health coaching because my sleep wasn’t where I wanted it to be, and I knew that when my sleep suffers, everything else becomes harder — my mood, my motivation and my ability to handle stress. I didn’t need more information; I needed to find a way that actually worked for me in real life.

Coaching made this possible. Accountability was the most important – it wasn’t just about being asked whether I’d done something — it was the care, flexibility and thought Priya brought to helping me see things from new perspectives so I didn’t give up. And when stressful situations got in the way, she adapted the approach so I could continue making progress rather than abandoning it altogether.
The biggest challenge for me was stopping the evening scrolling. It was by far the hardest habit to shift and took more intervention to really knock it on the head. What surprised me most was how much easier it became once we worked out what to replace the scrolling with. Scrolling no longer gives me the same satisfaction.

Building an evening routine has been crucial for me. Breaking it down into small, manageable steps helped, and becoming more aware of the risks that might get in the way of my routine meant I could either plan around them or accept them and minimise their impact. That awareness has helped me stay consistent without feeling rigid.
As a result, I’m getting to bed earlier much more often and sleeping better which makes everything easier – I feel calmer and more positive in myself. My mental health feels stronger, I handle challenges with more ease, and I’m much more aware of how different choices affect how I feel day to day.

Most importantly, I now have a system that genuinely works for me with tools and a framework I can return to when life gets busy. I feel confident that I can protect my sleep and my wellbeing going forward, because I understand what works for me and why.

Priya gets results quickly - she is exceptionally kind and empathetic while keeping up motivation and focus. It doesn’t matter which aspect of your mental or physical health you want to improve - this programme works! Trust your coach and trust the process. I would wholeheartedly recommend working with Priya — her encouragement, accountability and a dedicated space to think made all the difference.
